Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP)

Created on February 25, 1803 by Napoléon Bonaparte, the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIP) has four main tasks:

Supporting firms at each phase of their progress

Representing companies’ interests to public authorities

Developing trade fairs to serve companies and the Paris region’s attractiveness

Training personnel and future CEOs, to respond to companies’ needs

The CCIP serves the interests of 310,000 businesses in Paris, Hauts-de-Seine, Seine-Saint-Denis, and Val-de-Marne; comprising 20% of France’s GDP.

“We believe the Lebanese market presents great potential for renewable energy. The strong participation at EcOrient’s first edition proves this statement correct. We aimed at promoting French expertise on solar power, water treatment and investment, hoping that the exhibition, being the first of its kind in the country, has provided real added-value to the eco-activities in Lebanon.”
Jean-Paul Vermes, First Vice Chairman of the CCIP
